Continuity Direct is a product of SyCIS Ltd. This notice explains how SyCIS Ltd ("we", "us") handles personal data submitted through this website. It does not cover the Continuity Direct platform itself, where we act as a data processor for our customers—see our GDPR & Data Privacy Policy for that.

What we collect

When you request a free trial, we collect your name, work email address, organisation name and, if you provide it, the number of employees in your organisation.

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, work email address, the topic and message you send, and, if you provide them, your organisation and phone number.

Why we use it

We use these details only to respond to your enquiry and arrange your free trial. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to requests you have made, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who we share it with

Contact and trial requests from this website and from sycis.com are stored together in a SyCIS Google Sheet and sent to our team by email, using Google Workspace services, which act as our processor. Google may process data outside the UK; where it does, the transfer is protected by the safeguards required by UK data protection law. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless they lead to a business relationship, in which case they are kept for the duration of that relationship and any legally required period afterwards. We then delete them.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@sycis.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies, and its fonts are hosted on this website rather than loaded from a third party.
